Sun
Certification is $249.
Sun’s 310-011 exam measures a variety of skills,
including an individual’s ability to install the
Solaris 8 Operating Environment software, work
with different types of file systems and commands
related to the Solaris Operating Environment and
perform backup and file system restorations to
tape.
Sun’s 310-012 exam covers skills such as familiarity
with Solaris 8 network environment clients and
servers, the ability to configure a cache file
system and the ability to configure NIS master
server, NIS slave server, and NIS client.
SolCert/Admin I and SolCert/Admin II help prepare
individuals for the two exams required for the
System Administrator for the Solaris 8 Operating
Environment certification.
Once individuals pass both the 310-011 and the
310-012 exams, they can take Sun’s 310-043 exam
to obtain their Network Administrator for the
Solaris 8 Operating Environment credentials.
The Pak for Sun Certification prepares individuals
with full-length exams that simulate the actual
Sun tests in nature and difficulty. Progress and
weak areas can be pinpointed with a score report
history, and each answer explanation contains
references to Sun study resources. SolCert/Admin
I and SolCert/Admin II also have Transcender’s
Money-Back-If-You-Don’t-Pass-Guarantee.
