is an information assurance/ cyber security pioneer and distinguished professor in the Department of Defense Analy- sis at the Naval Postgraduate School. Recognized as one of the world’s leading information security experts, Dr. Denning has testified before the U.S. Congress on encryption policy and cyber terrorism, served in leadership and advisory positions with gov- ernment agencies, and published 120 articles and four books. She is the recipient of the 2004 Harold F. Tipton Award from the International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium. The dedication of the Dr. Dorothy E. Denning National Center for Academic Excellence in Informational Assurance Education at NJCU will take place during the conference.
