iversity of Cincinnati application • Completed BS HIM program application • O f f icial transcripts of all colleges/universities attended • Associate of science degree in health information manage- ment from a CAHIIM-accredited program with a minimum 2.6 GPA (on a 4.0 scale). Degree must include su cient general education courses (i.e. English) • Registered health information technician (RHIT). Graduates of an associate degree program have six (6) months to suc- cessfully complete the RHIT examination • Submit current AHIMA membership card or proof of mainte- nance of RHIT certi cation • Resume of professional and educational background Curriculum It is possible to complete the entire program in four years plus one summer quarter, but the student must follow the suggest- ed curriculum closely in order to schedule all of the required courses within the three years prior to the supervised practice portion of the program.
